18.01.2022 Today was my last workshop for the holidays. I had so much fun this past 2 weeks with all these lovely kids. Thank you for each and everyone that attended these workshops. Making Tie dye with children is a very rewarding activity. They absolutely LOVE the process and the common response when they open their first project is OH WOW!.... Why do kids love Tie Dye: 1. They have to dress up in gloves and aprons to do it 2. They play with colour. 3. The have to follow a set of instructions from beginning to end, in order to achieve a desired result. 4. It gives them a sense of achievement and self-worth. 5. Having successfully made something on their own fills a child with great sense of pride which leads to more confidence in their own abilities. 6. Tie dye leads itself to self-expression and uniqueness. 7. The WOW moment when the end results are finally revealed. 8. They get to wear what they have made. Conclusion.... Tie dye is a kids-confidence-builder....and it is FUN!
