24.01.2022 We are back at the Queen Victoria Market today so drop in and say hi and share some tunes

21.01.2022 Awesome Day at the Queen Victoria Market today. Rainbow Music is raising funds for Challenges "Day in May" Campaign. This campaign provides important funding to the Musical Moments Trust for Kids with Cancer. It was great today seeing smile on the faces on both young and old with lots of school kids on school excursions. A group of girls called in and picked up the Guitar and sung a Leonard Cohen piece "hallelujah" a passer by stopped and jump on the keyboard and we had a spontaneous jam and sing along, really, something just awesome. If your looking for something to do this weekend why not call in to the Vic Market, play and sing a song with and put a smile on your dial. You can find us usually in either shed D or E

08.01.2022 WOW what a busy last week! The "Day in May" campaign finished on a high with the folk at the Emerald Ukulele Festival supporting the Ukulele Wheel. It caused quite a buzz and with 1/2 of all sales going to Challenge Cancer and their Musical Moments Trust we are extremely proud to have been able to support this important initiative. Thanks goes to me lovely wife Jen who has worn the Digital Media Managers hat and both my children Dylan and Elana for the help and support. It was really great to be able to redirect the grief that we where all feeling, especially Elana after the loss of her classmate Marcus. A big thank you to everyone who has supported us during this time and our love goes to Marcus's family during this difficult time.

04.01.2022 Early and Special Needs Music Program We strongly believe that the opportunity to experience playing music is something to be treasured, especially with friends and loved ones. This starts by introducing colours to music, not just any colours, but the colours that naturally and harmonically align with musical notes.... This very simple act of combining colour and music allows children, who have never played before, to begin playing immediately. Of course motor skills and timing takes practice, which is great for brain/body development. The resources shown below are examples of how this natural and intuitive approach to playing music can be used. By developing a strong and multi-dimensional memory, children learn quickly and enjoy the immediate feedback from sounds and experience their art like never before. Open Invitation to Collaborate We are currently seeking parties who are interested in adapting this method to their own specific requirements. We also plan to provide a library of resources specific to the Early Learning space. If you are interested in developing further resources, session plans, activities or something else, then follow link attached to enquire.

03.01.2022 Learning to play simple songs on Piano Keyboard can be an enjoyable experience, as it creates an immediate sense of satisfaction and enjoyment. The problem with this is that for many people to play simple songs they need to work really hard to read that confronting Black and White on typical sheet music.
