25.01.2022 Rainbow Bay Nippers has begun! It’s a beautiful morning on the beach. Welcome back everyone!

23.01.2022 Congratulations to Rory Phelps - Youth of the Month Rory has been a dedicated member of Rainbow Bay SLSC club starting from Nippers. Rory was awarded Junior Club Captain in the 18/19 season and represented his club proudly both out in the community, at carnivals and within our club environment. Rory achieved his SRC in 18/19 season and recently completed his Bronze 20/21 season.... Rory is part of the YIPS program and has achieved his Bronze level and was on his way to achieving Silver but COVID ruined the plans in 19/20. Rory is consistent, he is a true club man and has had many adults comment about his work ethic and commitment to both the red and yellow and club. Rory helps at Nippers every week and the younger children love having him around when in the surf. One of our current U13s remembers Rory supporting him and guiding him while out on his board, prior to this the child lacked some confidence in getting out the back but Rory stayed with him guiding him both out and back in safely. Rory is currently blitzing through the PDB Team X-Treme program signing up for each course to enhance his skills and knowledge. He is a role model to both the young and older members and is popular with everyone. Rory is the epitome of what the red and yellow represents Rainbow, Branch and Surf Lifesaving are lucky to have him in their organizations. See more

21.01.2022 Happy New Year Rainbow Bay Nipper Families, can’t wait to get the Season going again on 17 January 2021

17.01.2022 It is with deep sadness that Rainbow Bay SLSC announces the passing of one of their much loved Patrolling Members, Mick Moroney. On the weekend Mick broke out of hospital to receive a very special guard of honour and round of applause from members of his Club. Mick was absolutely beaming and we were told that he couldn’t stop talking about his adventures and he slept very well that night. Mick was a dedicated and passionate member of several Surf Life Saving Clubs including... Bronte in NSW, accruing an amazing 60 years of service in total. Rainbow Bay SLSC feel honoured to have known him and are forever grateful for his commitment and time. Thank you to everyone who came out to acknowledge Mick and thank you to Greg and Kathryn for sharing your Dad with us in his final days. His parting words were... I’m not going anywhere! RIP Mick Moroney 8/9/2020
