02.05.2022 Rock hopping through Mudlo yesterday low tide.
30.04.2022 Here's one for the Toyota and 79 lovers. For those who dont know our sons story here is a brief overview: 4.5 years ago my son was hit by a car in Rainbow Beach, we were told to let him go as he would be a vegetable for life. We refused and for 7 months he was in a vegetative state. Well he started improving and last Nov he graduated high school completing and excelling at the same level of maths and English as his peers. Still in a wheelchair he decided to make his own bus...iness so he had a future. His clothing is about all the things that Sik Ladz do, growing up in Rainbow Beach it was obvious for him to start with fourbies. His page is Sik Ladz Clothing Co. And we thought you guys might appreciate his 79 design. Thanks for reading and he also has Hilux and Nissan designs so check him out. See more

26.03.2022 Unfortunate when you have to go and collect your sons vehicle... He doesn't drive due to disabilities from an accident..... but his carers do..... On the upside he is now offering a 15% discount till next Thursday to try and move some stock and get some money in the bank... What do you think his next car should be?... #SunkAsBro #challengefail #rainbowbeachtowing #sikladz

Few still giving it a crack though... becoming well lodged on the coffee rocks. Always a spectator sport here at Rainbow. Note: those of you who get offended with us posting of mishaps on the beach then whinge on our page about it, please feel free to not follow us. We always help those in distress on the beach & up for a chat but we can’t help those that won’t help themselves due to ignorance. Build a bridge.get over yourself! See more

25.01.2022 It's not everyday your customer arrives by helicopter to collect their vehicle.... Iron man legend Hayden & wife Fae Kenny broke down on Fraser Island last wee...k, after being towed in by Fraser Island Towing and some help from Benny at Rainbow Beach Auto Electrics we had his car fixed in no time. Son Grant Kenny flew dad back to Rainbow to collect his pride and joy. Some of the nicest customers we have had, very respectful, humble just all round nice guys. Was a pleasure helping them. 16.01.2022 It is an absolute tragedy that someone has died due to the hooning on the beach, I cannot express how much I feel for their family and friends. However it is important to remember that everyday there are tragic accidents on our roads from careless drivers, inexperienced drivers and speed. This is the first death on Teewah in YEARS, I have owned Rainbow Beach Towing and Fraser Island Towing for the last 8 years and yes we attended two tragic fatalities in the last 8 weeks, 1 o...n Fraser and 1 on Teewah, they were the first fatal accidents we have been to during our time in this business. I am not saying do nothing, I am saying we should not punish those who act responsibly, those who grow up in the area and treat it with respect and those who love visiting and supporting our local businesses. Let's face it during the busy season Rainbow Beach businesses rely on the traffic camping at Teewah brings to the town. I do think we need immediate punishment for those caught hooning on the beach. Confiscate their vehicles for 90 days straight up!! Hit them with the recovery and storage fees and a $5000 on the spot fine. Teewah will get a reputation for not being the place you can get away with it and they will stop coming. Teewah Campers need to also video the hooning and report it, give the police something so they can prosecute. In busy periods in Rainbow we are given additional police resources and due to Covid and the closed borders Rainbow, Teewah, Inskip and Fraser have been booked out for the last month on weekends. It is great for our town but we don't have the additional support for our police and rangers like we normally do during these periods. More resources and harsher fines, set the standard. If YOU frequent Teewah and you want it to stay open and you see hooning Dob In A Teewah Tool. See more
16.01.2022 Support local business when you visit Rainbow - give these guys a call if you need a 4WD to head up to Double Island.

14.01.2022 There is no 24 Hr Free Air in Rainbow Beach! Please Share and Sign our Offical Petition https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au//petit/petition-details After a 2 ...year battle to get the Government to agree to a common sense free air solution, the Palaszczuk Government has forced the removal of the Free Air facility at Rainbow Beach Car Wash. We had broad support for our facility from multiple levels of Government but our request for a permit to continue our operations was rejected blaming Native Title issues, and without as much as a meeting. They have ignored warnings that this important piece of road safety infrastructure should be available somewhere in Rainbow Beach. Within 24 hrs the Shell servo compressor failed to keep up with demand and that left only 1 air hose in Rainbow Beach at the BP. We understand many hardcore 4WDs will have their own compressors but our beaches are for everyone to enjoy. Please sign our petition sponsored by Local LNP MP Tony Perrett and supported by Gympie Mayor Glen Hartwig and Div 2 Councillor Dolly Jensen. After 20 years of supplying free air, it is our intention to work with local reps to find a solution. Please Share and Sign our Offical Petition https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au//petit/petition-details Petition wording: Queensland citizens draws to the attention of the House that for 40 years Rainbow Beach businesses have carried the burden of filling approximately 800,000 tyres/year on 4WD vehicles that travel to our area to drive on the beaches in Cooloola and Fraser Island National Parks. The State Government, through the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, receive permit fees from each and every vehicle and advise those vehicles to lower their tyre pressures. In an egregious failure of duty of care the State does not supply a free facility to reinflate those tyres to ensure the safety of those travellers once they return to our roads. The petitioners, therefore, request the House to urgently build and administer a free 24 hour Tyre Inflation Facility at Rainbow Beach to service Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service customers' requirements.
