25.01.2022 What makes us different from the ‘big’ race companies? Here’s just a few things to get you started. Looking forward to meeting all of our 2020 competitors on Saturday and Sunday. On race day you will see our team - all of us - on the start line, transition, on course and at the finish. We value your support and your feedback and are open to your suggestions. We celebrate each and every competitor - from the first to the last over the finish line, you are all winners! ... We proudly support local businesses and try to purchase items locally. All fruit for the finish line has been purchased from Rainbow Beach Fruit - just near the Rainbow Beach Hotel. Our medals are made locally in SEQld and, as we can’t get fancy ‘sublimated’ lanyards in Australia, we are busy personalising them. Event shirts are through fantastic local company 17 Hours... but we’re not revealing them just yet!

24.01.2022 While we can't race (other than virtually) just yet, we certainly can get out and train. Our supporters at 17 Hours have organised a funky training shirt with a strictly limited production run. If you're interested, please contact 17 Hours via FB Message. If you visit the 17 Hours FB Page, the link and details are there. Great quality shirt and a local SEQ family business. $30 for the shirt plus $6 postage (AUD).

16.01.2022 Thank you for your patience. COVID-19 has created many challenges for events. We have applied for permits and approvals for the August 8/9 weekend and all is looking positive for the event to go ahead on schedule. We are just waiting on a few more approvals before reopening entries early July. Entries will be strictly limited in accordance with COVID-19 protocols and we expect to sell out quickly. We hope to see you in Rainbow Beach for the 2020 Double Triathlon.

A very special shout out to the crew from Team Rainbow who volunteered as marshals throughout the weekend. We love having the local community so actively involved. We would also like to say a special thank you to the Rainbow Beach Surf Lifesaving crew. You are fantastic! Even when the surf got rough on Saturday the crew were there to help keep everyone safe.
