03.01.2022 A piece from before Covid-19 in our world that I didn't have a chance to post. Made this 6 tier beauty for my brother-in-laws wedding early February 2020. Sydney received it's heaviest rain for the last 30 years on that day. My fellow cake makers know what 100% humidity means in the cake world; but, I am trilled with the result. ... Details: chocolate cake, banana cake, carrot cake and traditional fruit cake covered by fondant, decorated with carefully cut and carved little flowers, leaves and edible lace with and topped with beautiful fresh flowers. Proudly survived car transfer to the venue and a bump at the dance floor.
