24.01.2022 Was a great weekend spent at this years Bunbury Orchid Show, selling daylilies, louisiana irises, raw organic honey and my virgin beeswax healing balms. It was great to catch up with some familiar faces that I hadn't seen for a few years and meeting new people . Here are some images I took over the weekend. For all you locals that are interested, Busselton is holding their annual Orchid Show this weekend 12th & 13th Sept in the Hall/Pavilion, at the Show Grounds, from 10am - 3pm. Hope you can make it?

20.01.2022 I will be at this years annual Bunbury Orchid Show, held on the first weekend of September - 5th & 6th. I will be selling discounted Daylilies, Louisiana irises and some of my delicious honey and beeswax healing balm. 20.01.2022 Hi Happy Gardeners, Well, that time of the year has come again....so here's a reminder that I will be closed for orders from around 6th December through till 1st Feb 2021 as it is too hot to do orders and it's not the right time of year to dig up daylilies. I won't be processing daylily orders again until end of April early May next year, so, if you want to place an order for Daylilies please place it by the end of the first week of December - within the next 2 weeks. I am ...still doing 10 assorted daylilies for $100, these make lovely Christmas gifts. Hopefully I will find the time to get around in placing some photos of some of my new cultivars and make these available for next year. We now have a 212,000 litre water tank, which is already full to the brim plus our 23,000 litre tank and water in our well which tends to drop low by end of Dec. We have plenty of fresh water to keep the nursery watered and kept lush and healthy throughout the summer season. I am low on Tall Bearded irises but hope I may have some available in Feb when I open up for orders again in 2021. Regards Shelli See more

19.01.2022 It's a great time to plant daylilies. Here are several "miniature" varieties from my collection I have available on my website. The miniture varieties are great to grow in pots or gardens, especially around the borders. Miniatures are small plants but multiple well. 16.01.2022 Any orders recieved from yesterday onwards will be delayed by up to a week as I am getting surgery done and not sure how I will be afterwards. Epi orders should be fine but daylily and iris orders will have to wait a few weeks as I am not allowed to do anything strenuous. Kind Regards Shelli

16.01.2022 Over the past several months I have been making face and body beeswax balms. These balms have helped so many of my customers skin conditions, from eczema, dermatitis & psoriasis to removing warts, healing ulcers, healing scars, dry flaky skin to all sorts of rashes and skin conditions. Here are some images of my stall and beeswax products. I send balms through out Australia and have also sent to New Zealand. The beeswax I use would have to be the best beeswax in the world for it's healing properties - the cappings of the Jarrah and Marri honey which is high in TA levels and has natural peroxides. I find these balms have been so good for my skin, with protecting and nourishing it through our harsh climates and my outdoor nursery lifestyle - Shelli Green

11.01.2022 The new water tank has been an absolute success this summer as it has kept our nursery and other plants well watered throughout our summer and still has plenty of water left in it but the dry season isn't over yet. I thought to share this one image of a seedling that I took yesterday which reminds me that I MUST and should get around to registering some or make them available on my website. This beauty is a white standard with pink undertones with a large fancy clear gold frilly picotee wide edge. A real beauty. Taken late in the day, hense the colours and image are poor.

06.01.2022 Now available on my website, I welcome you : "Paul Antony" named after my younger brother "Paul Newman" whom chose this daylily cultivar as his favourite and I can't blame him. Such gorgeous structured blooms with crinkled, ruffled edges and white midribs extending out from a black-crimson eye which surrounds the lime green throat, displayed on long scapes with thin strappy foliage. A unique vibrant purple colour with blue undertones that my camera can't capture. Prolific and flowers over a long period of time. A fast increaser. A real show stopper growing amongst all my others. It is truly one on it's own with it's unique colouring.

05.01.2022 Just an update on the daylily orders. My operation a few weeks ago went really well... I had my right thyroid removed due to enlarged cysts which apparently is common in ladies around my age. Due to my operation I wasn't allowed to do any heavy lifting, pulling, pushing, digging etc so this put me out of order for 2+ weeks and the anaesthetic seemed to knock me around a bit for a week afterwards. I am all good now and back to my usual self and I don't need to go on any horm...one/thyroid replacements as my thyroids were working ok and the left one is doing it's job. I have made a start on all the 20 odd daylily orders yesterday with the help of my husband whom was home from FIFO and aim to have all the daylily orders posted off to you Monday next week. These will be sent by express, with tracking so expect them mid to late next week, nice and fresh. Thanks for your patience and understanding. I will then start on the few Epi orders that I have received over the past 2 weeks but just want to get all the daylily orders done and dusted first. The epi orders I hope to have sent by mid- end of next week as these don't really matter if they get caught up in the weekend mail, these will be sent by express with tracking also. If you want to place an order, you still have a few days to do so, as I close orders for the year. I am going to do another post on my latest project which some of you may find rather interesting and you can let me know if you would like to purchase any to try before I send off your daylily orders so I can add this/these products in with your plant order? 04.01.2022 Bee Naturally Beautiful sells magic products! I had a rash on my chest that nothing else would get rid of, it just kept coming back. Put the floral balm on it,... it healed and has never reappeared! My daughter (4) also loves it for her mosquito bites, she calls it ‘magic cream’. Highly recommended :)
