25.01.2022 Yesterday we had a good turn out for the first round of mens championships.

25.01.2022 A better than expected day weather-wise, saw 21 men and 7 ladies take to the course for a stroke round on Saturday. Chris Heinrich took out the win for the men, with a 90-24-66. This is Chris best round of golf since he began playing so congrats Schnitz; Im sure the handicapper has dealt with you by now. Daryn Clugston was the runner up with a not so shabby 83-16-67. Amanda Sluggett won the ladies comp with a 108-34-74 from Debbie Lowe 93-17-76 and Lynne McKenzie who also had a 76 nett but I dont know which one won the count back.

24.01.2022 Look who we found playing a few holes today. 93 year old Hazel! Its great to see you

23.01.2022 Due to recent developments with a possible local outbreak of COVID19, Edenhope Golf Club Incs President and Tournament Committee have reluctantly taken the de...cision to cancel our One-Day July Tournament scheduled for Saturday 18th July, 2020. If circumstances relating to COVID19 change dramatically, hopefully this popular event will be held later in the year on our beautiful golf course. Please note that an event will still be held for locals and members on Saturday 18th July. See more

23.01.2022 22 players enjoyed our course today. The course looks great. Thanks to all who are keeping it so nice

22.01.2022 Second round of the mens championships today and the weather turned it on, as did some of the players. Todays round saw Marc Edelsten take the A Grade win with a very tidy 79/69. Steve Leach finished runner-up withan 82/72. This sees Edo and Leachy sharing the lead for the championship with 161. Leachy is also ahead in the aggregate with 141. The B Grade winner for today is either Roger Smith, 93/72, or Peter Gosling, 91/72, as I dont know who won on a count back. At thi...s stage, Roger is leading both sections of the B Grade championship with 183/141. The C Grade saw two ripper scores come in, with Lucas Edelsten showing everyone on course how its done posting an amazing 81/57 (definitely has the bragging rights over dad tonight). Muddy Cocks was runner-up with a score that probably would have won any other day, handing in a 90/63. Needless to say, Lucas is the current C Grade leader with 175. Lucas and Muddy are joint leaders for the aggregate with 127. Not to be outdone by too much, the ladies had a great day out too. Jenny Edelsten won with 96/62 from Lynne McKenzie with 91/64. Special mention to Pam Clugston who had 101/69.

22.01.2022 15 men and 8 women took you the course this arvo. The men played stableford and the ladies played par. Wayne Nitschke and Azza Glen both had eagles today. Eddo won the day with 34 points, on a count back from Wayne Nitschke. Lynne McKenzie won with +1, from Debbie Lowe with -1.

21.01.2022 Take a look at the crew who took out the runners up position. Just a tad rough around the edges but doing our club proud. Must have been a nice day as Edo has the shorts on. Congratulations guys.

14.01.2022 Someone tagged me on FB, not realising that my drive has sucked for 2 years. He also dared me to share it to our golf page. Well, here it is because I know that our girls have a sense of humour. After yesterdays par round we might argue that we dont know how to use an iron either

14.01.2022 7 ladies took to the course today. Amanda Sluggett won with 38 points from Wendy Sleep with 32 points. Next week we play par.

12.01.2022 Operations advice Based on verbal advice provided by the Victorian DHHS, Golf Australia recommends the following: All golfers must wear a face covering or face mask when playing golf across Victoria, unless they are affected by a relevant medical condition such as breathing difficulties (e.g. Asthma), a serious skin condition on the face, a disability or a mental health condition.... GA strongly recommends that all clubs/facilities direct players, staff and volunteers to wear a face covering that must stay on whilst at the club/facility and if playing, for the duration of their round. It is recommended that upon arrival all players are asked to wear a face covering and are asked to leave the facility immediately if they are not wearing a face covering, unless they are affected by a relevant medical condition. It is recommended that clubs/facilities seek a medical certificate or other proof of exemption for players who state they have a valid reason not to wear a face covering. All club/facility employees and volunteers must wear a face covering whilst at the club/facility. It is the responsibility of clubs/facilities to ensure that employees and volunteers are wearing a face covering while at the club/facility. Face coverings can be removed while eating and drinking. If further information is released, Golf Australia will communicate to clubs/facilities as quickly as practicable.
