From 6PM tonight, southeast Queensland, Townsville city, Palm Island and Mag...netic Island will go into lockdown. This comes after two new cases of community transmitted cases of Covid-19 were detected in Queensland overnight. The Premier says the case of a 19 year old clerical worker from the Prince Charles hospital is concerning. She had travelled from her home in Sandgate near Brisbane to Magnetic Island last week, and on Sunday to the Townsville City Markets. More to come.
