Redland Bay is in the middle of an interesting weather patten which has seen destructive winds, high rain fall and king tides all at the same time and caused some concern among local residents. As with all the design elements for Wayfarer Residences, please be assured that there was no stone unturned when the building levels were being considered. Experts from several different fields wrote reports based on observations, mod...elling and scrutiny, and this information was used to set the building levels at Wayfarer high enough to mitigate any possible tide, sea surge or flooding issues that may occur now or in the future. See the photos below taken at 10.30am yesterday at the turn of the tide (2.9m). This king high tide is 2.0m below the ground floor level of the units and is 1.7m below the threshold of the driveway.
