From noon this Friday, July 3 anyone who travels from Victoria including Queenslanders will be prevented from entering Queensland unless they complete 14 days of hotel quarantine at their own expense. From July 10, our borders will open to travellers from other states and territories who have not been in Victoria.... Queenslanders’ continued efforts in uniting against COVID-19 means restrictions can ease a week earlier than expected. From July 3, more people will be allowed in more places and to attend more events. Don’t risk a second wave of COVID-19. 14.01.2022 Just a little info of what’s required of all accommodation providers currently due to Covid-19. We are required to collect declarations from all guests/visitors and tradespersons entering the property . This is required under our Heath Management Plan which is a requirement of Queensland Health . We need to be compliant to operate so we ask nicely let’s work together to be virus free . Your information of your whereabouts of 14 days prior to your arrival is collected and sto...red on the property and is NOT shared . This information is destroyed after 56 days . Your declarations are emailed to you and can be signed and returned within days of your arrival or you can fill one out in reception. Also importantly social distancing is a must on the property And wash your hands . We thank you so much for your co-operation.

13.01.2022 SNEAK PEEK: Here's a look inside the newly-finished Nambour Heritage Tramway Depot! Nambour's newest attraction is on track with the completion of the terminu...s on Mill Street marking a huge milestone for the town of Nambour at a time when change is on the cusp. Thanks to the Nambour Tramway Company (TNT Co) and financial support from the federal government and council, the depot will not just house the new solar-powered electric tram, set to travel down Nambour's historic rail lines, but will also feature: A visitor and community information centre Petrie the Locomotive dating back to 1968 Commercial kitchen and indoor and outdoor events space Static and interactive historic displays and Commercial opportunities for local businesses. WHAT'S NEXT? The tram and establishment of the tramway track is still undergoing construction. The tram will ultimately run between the Tram Terminus in Mill St, to the southern end of Quota Park, along Mill and Howard Streets. Expected operational date of 2021! 07.01.2022 FYI - as we are currently on travel restrictions . Why not book direct with the property , this avoids the property paying fees to these agents . And at the moment all accommodation providers -whether it be caravan parks / motels /resorts etc do not need to be paying out to these overseas companies especially . The money needs to stay in Australia . Everyone be educated and do your bit and support home .
