12.01.2022 Show compassion to yourself and others (all living beings). The 5th precept of reiki. At this weekend’s retreat a fruit bat became entangled in barbed wire close by. Two of the ladies attending tried to help. One of them getting a tiny scratch from a claw. Seeing a distressed animal is hard but because bats r known to carry the lysis virus it’s important to avoid contact. I offered reiki from a safe distance and as the bat relaxed I realised we needed wildlife carers. G...oogle came to the rescue followed by a kind local lady with the necessary tools to help. The lady who got scratched went to the doctor and then had to go for a painful injection the next day followed by more injections this week. So please if u come across a frightened animal call our wonderful wildlife carers. #wildlifecarer #reiki #bat #compassion #help #reikilife #bekind See more
