25.01.2022 Do you know the Tweeds best secret wedding location? Stunning wide vistas of water and nature and usually hardly a soul around? Its Cram's Farm, south of Uki. We were there last week, photographing a very intimate elopement ceremony for Krystle and James. Here are a few favourite photos from the day:

24.01.2022 We can offer and suggest some beautiful locations or you may already have somewhere in mind? Would you like to get married: On a farm? In a rainforest by a beautiful creek? By a lake filled with birds and lilies?... On a headland overlooking the ocean? At a beautiful B & B with lovely gardens and other natural features. Just let us know and we'll work with you to find the perfect spot. If the location is in the Tweed Valley and Tweed Coast area, that can be included in the Basic Package. If the location is outside of the Tweed Valley a travel charge will apply, so just let us know where you have in mind and we'll do our best to help you fulfil that dream! http://www.rainforestandcountryelopements.com.au/ See more

21.01.2022 We're the photography side of Rainforest and Country Elopements and as you'll see - we love weddings, no matter how large, or how small! We'd love to be the photographers at your wedding. Just message us to find out more.

20.01.2022 This could be a beautiful addition to your elopement. A mid-morning ceremony with a picnic lunch? Or an afternoon ceremony followed by a picnic on a river-bank or a headland over the ocean as the light gets low and soft?

20.01.2022 Elopements and micro-weddings are now so popular even the ABC News is talking about them! We have two new couples who've had to cancel their big weddings, but they're really happy with the way their new smaller ones are coming together. and with the support and ideas we've been able to give them. #microwedding #rainforestwedding https://www.abc.net.au//coronavirus-restrictions-/12578792

18.01.2022 Late last year we had a beautiful elopement that gradually turned into a micro-wedding as they sometimes do! The ceremony was held on the hill-top at Mavis's Kitchen and Cabin's @ Mt Warning and the reception was held in the garden next to the restaurant - perfect for a summer wedding! You may have heard that Mavis's is changing hands, we wish Peter and Charlie all the best for their next chapter down in Tassie. We have been to so many wonderful weddings and other events At Mavis's and are sure it will continue as an outstanding venue! Here are a few photos from Cass and Josh's wedding. One of the things that was important to them was that it was a dog-friendly event. #maviseskitchen #dogfriendlywedding #hilltopwedding #tweedvalleyweddingvenue

11.01.2022 Such strange times - it must be so stressful for all of you who are planning a wedding at the moment. Let us know if we can help in any way to make it smoother for you! https://www.viportraitsandweddings.com.au/blog/

09.01.2022 I just learnt a new expression in this very interesting article - micro-weddings. I'm going to start using that! Here are some couples who so wanted to be married, they went ahead and downsized their wedding plans. https://www.abc.net.au//getting-married-coronavir/12485002

07.01.2022 Here is a video by Vibrant Imaging showing some of what they just love about wedding photography. They will be your photographers for any elopement that you have with us.

05.01.2022 We are excited to now offer elopement packages at the very famous Mavis's Kitchen near Mount Warning. Maybe you wanted to get married there but found they were booked out for the dates you were thinking of? We provide elopement packages there on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Call now for more info or message us. http://www.rainforestandcountryelopements.com.au//accommod

04.01.2022 Oh these flowers! I'd love to have something like this if I was getting married now.

03.01.2022 I liked this very real advice from Lola. (Including the last part about geting yourself an amazing photographer - because photos are forever!)

02.01.2022 Just days before the Co-vid restrictions sent us all into lockdown, this lovely couple, Sarah and Geoff, made the journey from Canberra to be married under the trees at Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat This site is so secluded and so immersed in nature, the only sounds were the creek and the birdsong. You could feel how much they had been longing and waiting for this moment and we all had tears in our eyes as they made their vows. Lucille created a beautiful ceremony for them which included the lighting of candles for all their children. Afterwards we went on a forest walk choosing the best locations for some very romantic photos. #CrystalCreekRainforestRetreat

01.01.2022 We usually do quite a few black and white versions for our couples. Here are a few as a series from a recent elopement at Mount Warning Rainforest Retreat. Such a sweet couple - I love the one of Melissa helping Andrew with his corsage.
