05.01.2022 I hope all of my amazing mums out there had a beautiful Mothers day, and felt loved, appreciated and special. How was my solo mothers day you ask? Disastrous, basically! Joey was up at 3.30... I got in trouble for putting the fruit for the fruit salad in the bowl in the wrong order The fruit salad and yoghurt ended up all over the floor Joey wanted a sandwich, but I should have known be wanted it heated in the microwave Joey put the toothbrushes in the empty bath and peed on them He fell over outside and smashed his face I got 2 teabags and a bag of loose leaf tea for mothers day. I can't stand tea. I have spent the majority of the day feeling sorry for myself after a shitfest yesterday afternoon too. So just putting it out there, Mothers Day on your own with young kids is just another day. Do not even have secret hopes or expectations. Just, don't. Oh, and Sam said my sad is making him sad, because he catches other people's feelings, so I wasn't allowed to be sad so he didn't have to be sad. The 'meat' for spag bol is a heap of pureed veg and he says 'I don't want to upset you mum, but my meat doesn't look very good...'

05.01.2022 I planned lasagne for dinner. Picked Sam up and he decided he wanted burgers. Figure there's no harm in moving lasagne to tomorrow. Stop at coles and grab some burgers and rolls. Come home and cooked the mince for tomorrow's lasagne. Getting everything ready for the burgers, and no burgers. Look everywhere, call the store and yes, I left that bag behind! Gah! ... Chucked everyone back in the car, dash up to coles, grab the burgers and come home. Cook and serve the burgers. Neither kid eats the freaking burger!!!
