25.01.2022 It doesn't quite fit in the box.

25.01.2022 What a fantastic day yesterday was. We have had some time to reflect and were wanting to gauge some feedback and maybe some highlights from the day. For me as an organiser seeing the way the professional players, politicians and radio boys interacted with the kids and locals really made my day as did young Lily, Grace and Chloe all having a run and holding their own with some seriously talented players. Let us know what you think.

25.01.2022 Unfortunately we didn’t see this Sunday but Raise the Bat player Brayden Stepien going big in Adelaide.

23.01.2022 Another message from one of our stars for Sunday. Thanks Dan Robinson

19.01.2022 Well done Nambrok Cricket Club for todays Raise the Bat bushfire charity match. Unfortunately I had to leave early for work (after gifting 25 runs off my only... over) and our team is chasing 223. The Nambrok ground is in great nick - even after I dived to save four runs, left a divot in the outfield and stopped the ball with my chin! Wont be giving up my day job for the next Big Bash League! #lovegippsland See more

15.01.2022 Unfortunately we didnt see this Sunday but Raise the Bat player Brayden Stepien going big in Adelaide.

15.01.2022 If youre not sure what the players coming can do, have a look at what Brayden Stepien did in the National T20 qualifier last month. Get down and see if he can replicate this on Sunday.

14.01.2022 Nambrok Cricket Club today hosted the raise your bat charity cricket match for East Gippsland. Among the players were Victorian representatives Will Sutherland... and Sam Harper (pictured) who not only came but spent a lot of time with local families and the kids present, as did former Australian players Mick Lewis and Michael Beer. Highlight of the day (for me) was Darren Chester one over no wickets for 25. Well done to all organisers! See more

06.01.2022 Game day preparation is in full swing. The ground and wicket are looking mint and thanks to Phil Knowles we have big bright lines around the boundary and inner ring. Lots of work has been put in by Steve Robinson and Al Robinson for the past few weeks to get it up and going for the day. Stay tuned tomorrow for important game day info regarding parking, entry and lots of activities.

06.01.2022 Last player announcement for the game!! Raise the Bat would like to welcome incumbent Melbourne Renegades and Victorian Cricket Team wicketkeeper Sam Harper. Sam is coming off a brilliant BBL09 for the Renegades where he was unfortunately injured. Sam will be making his comeback at the Raise the Bat Fundraiser March 1st... A talented young keeper-batsman, Harper made his debut for the Melbourne Stars in BBL|06 before signing as a replacement player with the Renegades in BBL|08. Only months later, he was a key member of the clubs inaugural BBL title, having scored more runs (341) than any other Renegade for the season. Harper broke into Victorias Sheffield Shield squad in 2015-16 and exploded onto the scene with a record nine dismissals on debut. Welcome Sam its a pleasure to have you onboard!!
