21.01.2022 I wanted to share my family with you, My parents are the back bones of Rajshahi, This is my father's legacy,that I will carry on. He is the founder of Rajshahi Indian Restaurant. They have worked hard for us, and it's our turn to give back to them. We are the same family that cooks your yummy food. We are a family of feeders and we also love to eat. He has always told me if you ever have the means to help your community, make sure you do it and I have heeded his words. As he ...once lived a hard life in india in his younger days and knows what it feels like to go hungry and have no shelter. A chefs life is not easy, I remember when I was a child, I would not see my dad in the mornings and by the time he would come home in the night we would be asleep. On the odd times dad would come with delicious food we would be half asleep as soon as he opened that door, my dad would smile. This industry is tough as well, as you put long hours in and sometimes never get paid for it but we love it all the same. I say to the families that are chefs and work in the line of hospitality, I commend you. I wish all my customers a big thank you for currying on with us,in times that are tough for everyone. 21.01.2022 We always take pride in our food, we package it well, so no untidy spillages. It's clearly labelled. It was awesome to see so many people pop into our shop and use the Dine and Discover Vouchers. It was great to have a chat. Nice to see people positive and upbeat. Wearing their masks.... I wanted to give a special mention to the elderly gentleman John H that popped into the shop this afternoon at 1.20pm. He ordered his lunch packs. I asked him if he had a voucher and he said he did. It's great when I see this benefit the older generation. I saw his happy smile. It warmed my heart. We thank everyone that has come and supported us. I know times are uncertain, but this in time shall pass. We just have to adjust to the new normal... Rajshahi will always support our community and give back... 10.01.2022 My little Aryan wanted to explore the garden today with me as it's my day off.We spent some time together he was fascinated with the cucumbers,tomatoes,showing him where the potatoes were sprouting. It's sensory for him touching the aloe vera,Smelling the mint. It's rewarding to teach him,He keeps asking when will he be able to eat the mango, it need to grow Aryan. He just loved it Curry On Aryan my little man

09.01.2022 Plucked all this from my garden,Home grown mint, Coriander and Garlic chives all to be used at the restaurant for our mint yoghurt sauce and our vegan mint sauce. Finally success in growing Coriander yippee.

07.01.2022 What I grow goes to the restaurant. It's a great feeling, when I tell my customers, I grew my eggplant that's in your dish.The mint grown from my garden goes to your Mint Yogurt and the vegan mint sauce or the cucumbers are for the Cucumber Raita restaurant. Finally having tomatoes growing which is awesome.
