If you don't agree with the changes being forced on Racing Queensland it is vital that you send an email stating your opposition to the Racing Integrity Bill by next Wednesday January 27th. 07.01.2022 Join THIS WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 16th, Public Grandstand, Doomben Racecourse at 10am to oppose the implementation of the 'Tracking Towards Sustainability Plan' which will devastate the Qld Racing industry.
05.01.2022 To all industry stakeholders, For the very first time in the history of Qld racing and breeding, all industry sectors have united as one for a common cause. As a result, a public rally will be held at 10am on Wednesday December 16 at Doomben racecourse where the group of attendees will be asked to support the resolutions outlined below.... Never before has the need to gather as a show of strength been more imperative and we encourage EVERYONE to attend this meeting if at all possible. However, for those that cannot be there on the day, simply register your support for the resolutions below by LIKING this page. RESOLUTIONS 1. The Industry rejects the proposal to implement a Board with a majority membership of non-industry knowledgeable people. 2. The Industry requires the government to, within 1 month, appoint a Board under the current structure, with appropriate input from Industry. 3. That until a Board has been implemented and given sufficient time to assess the current situation and devise and agree a strategy, no changes are implemented. If you support these then please ensure that as many people as possible have the opportunity to let their voice also be heard.
