21.01.2022 Enjoying the views of the Murray River this morning during a private pilot licence navigation training flight. This photo was taken north of Swan Hill during a low-level navigation segment of the flight.

20.01.2022 Passing overhead the South Para Reservoir in the Adelaide Hills on our way outbound from Parafield Airport. As part of the private pilot licence flight training, students learn how to fly and operate within controlled airspace.

19.01.2022 Fuel tanks are being fitted and fuel lines run this week as 7086 takes another step closer to flight. Sump plates and lock wire yet to be installed. We are waiting on some internal tank parts and thought we’d let everything settle before final tightening.

18.01.2022 A quick update on Harvard 7086. Today the fuselage halves were reunited. The centre section is coming together and we hope to have it standing back on its landing gear soon.

11.01.2022 This week the Harvard’s side panel with SAAF identification number came back from @Polly’sPanels after being repainted. Fingers crossed 7086 will take to the skies again in 2020.

09.01.2022 The Center section is back on it’s wheels!! Well two of them and a jockey wheel. We should be joining the Center Section to the fuselage in the coming weeks, allowing us to start fitting the rest of the systems and engine. Still a way to go, but makes for great visual progress.

08.01.2022 It’s been a busy summer so far and we’re only half way through , we have been busy on fire work with two pilots in South Australia and the Mildura pilots doing a fantastic job keeping up with the fires in western Victoria. Thanks to Horsham Aviation and GAM for keeping our aircraft in top condition at short notice.

03.01.2022 Not a bad way to finish the week with the engine being installed on the Harvard. This Pratt and Whitney motor is 9 cylinders, 1340 cubic inches (22litres) and produces 600hp. We’re looking forward to firing it up!
