24.01.2022 Continuation of CVA Bylaws

23.01.2022 Players that I need to be playing on the 18th October 2014 if you are available are: Sarah Dewis, Natalie Lynam, Danella Cook, Henry Williams Jnr and Leichan Williams Snr to get your games up and some form. As you all know we have 15 to 16 players that I need to register and obtain some form.

11.01.2022 These are the CVA Bylaws as of 2012 the latest update. Every association has their own Bylaws. When you go to for example to play vigoro in Townsville they have their set of Bylaws you abid by when you go to play vigoro in Townsville. Just to give an example Townsville have a white line drawn on the pitch where the bowler must bounce the first bounce over that line or it will be called a No Ball if I can remember correctly. Where in Cairns that is not our rule. Most bylaws ar...e similar they will just vary for the different playing areas for each association. So we have the rules of the game then we have our own Bylaws we abid by in our association for our club games. When we hold carnivals the Bylaws we set here will be the way the carnival is run for all teams to play by. I hope that clarifies the difference. Bylaws can only be changed at our AGM's with a proposal that is voted on. For example QVA might change their Bylaws but it want change CVA's unless brought forward at our AGM with majority ruling in favour of adapting our (CVA) Bylaws to match. See more

10.01.2022 The latest Rules I have on the game of Vigoro

09.01.2022 Players have three weeks to get a white shirt. Those players that come to our first game back on the 18th October without a white shirt I will sit you out myself. Players need to finalise their fees on the 18th October 2014. Those that haven't yet paid fees it is a 100 dollars due on the 18th October. Any players that have or are planning on nominating for the Cairns Rep Teams your nomination fee of 45 dollars is due at the October CVA meeting. If you haven't paid your 45 dollars I want bother putting in your nomination form because the CVA want accept your nomination without it.

08.01.2022 NO TRAINING FOR THREE WEEKS!!! Training will commence on the 14 October 2014. We will have our first training on the 14 October at Ravizza Park in Edmonton 5.15pm.

08.01.2022 CVA Core Players for Ramblers are players that can only play for their registered team. Players that are not named are allowed to play for the opposition if we have spare players. Players are: Leichan Williams senior, Zaneta Cook, Danella Cook, Nancy Cook, Taylor Eyval, Irene Kelly, Natalie Lynam and Sarah Dewis. Repeat these players can not fill in for the opposition can only play for Ramblers.
