10.01.2022 Batteries need to be disposed of in the right way. If they end up in landfill they can leak and cause harm to our environment. 10.01.2022 Don’t Be A Tosser! It's a simple message, so why do people still litter? RAMJO Murray Waste Group engaged with local residents and visitors to understand littering behaviour. Participating Councils also conducted audits at litter hotspots across the Murray foreshore. People litter for a variety of reasons because they believe they can get away with it. That's why we are stepping up litter reduction activities across the Murray region; including litter patrols, issuing fines,... educating the public, installing new bins and signage. You can help by registering to 'Report a Tosser' bit.ly/ReportATosser. If it's not in the bin, it's on you.
