19.01.2022 Following on from the success of the pre-Christmas program the St George cricket association are running another girls only cricket blast program at the elite Hurstville Oval. This is a fantastic opportunity for girls that want to learn and develop their cricket skills in a fun and friendly environment. $30 for 4 sessions and a free bat! 12.01.2022 Ramsgate RSL Cricket Club is looking to form some all girls cricket teams particularly in the younger age group formats. Cricket is COVID safe and a great summer sport for girls. Anyone who watched the Australian womens cricket team win the T20 cricket world cup knows that girls develop excellent technique, power, self-confidence and play an entertaing brand of cricket. We need 7-8 girls to form teams in the younger age brackets (u11 and below). Games at this age are played i...n modified formats on shorter pitches, smaller fields, less fielders and much more action. Games are over in under 2 hrs. Give you daughter a chance to try something new that she will mostly likely love. Brings some friends and she'll enjoy it any more. There are some great come and try and training opportunities around in the St George area. Our club will also seek to make some specialist coaches available for girls clinics. 08.01.2022 There is an opportunity to attend a FEMALE ONLY Community Coaching Course. The course will take place as a ONE DAY ONLY event on 25 November 2020 at Waverley Oval. The practical component will be conducted 5:15pm-8:15pm. There is a short online component to complete as well. Please spread the word as it is a wonderful opportunity for our female members to gain the confidence to get more involved with the game.... 05.01.2022 Hi everyone, The start of the 2020/21 cricket season is fast approaching with pre-season trials being held on; Sat 19 Sep and... Sat 26 Sep at Tonbridge Reserve nets. Age groups will be split into the following time slots on both dates; U10 Non Competition and U11 Competition 1pm - 2pm U13 Competition 2pm - 3pm, and U15 Competition 3pm - 4pm. The blaster programs will have a separate date scheduled. We are setting up a gear exchange table at training, if you have any unwanted cricket gear that is still in decent condition, please bring it on the trial dates. COVID-19 safeguards will be in place and if you feel unwell or have been potentially exposed to the virus please do not to attend the sessions.

Kids who play multiple sports develop more coordination, skills and body balance. CONFIRMED TRIAL DATES, TIMES AND VENUES Cawsey Shield (U12s - Div 1 and Div 2 - Dean O'Neill)... Sunday 23 August - 12pm - 2pm Gannons Park Nets Sunday 30 August - 8am - 9.30am - Norm O'Neill Centre, Penshurst Park Gee Shield (U13s - Div 1 and Div 2 - Mario Pengue) Sunday 23 August - 8am - 9.30am - Norm O'Neill Centre, Penshurst Park Sunday 30 August - 2pm - 4pm - Olds Park nets Moore Shield (U14s - Gerard Walz) Sunday 23 August @ 2pm-4pm - Gannons Park Nets Sunday 30 August @ 5pm-7pm - Norm O'Neill Centre, Penshurst Park Further info will be provided regarding Watson and Weblin Shields in the near future. At this stage, it appears unlikely that those trials will start this weekend. NOMINATION FOR REP TRIALS Players must complete the form accessed at the link below if they intend to trial for any of our rep teams. It must be completed so that Rep Coaches will know who will be attending the trials.
