18.01.2022 Finally able to enjoy the late sunshine on the walled garden. The old stone wall was here when we came 7 yrs ago but like most things was covered in smothering ivy. Loads of work later, its a sweet, fairly easy care garden with good old lavender and a magnolia tree I’m carefully nursing. We spent our twoweeks isolation building a fence to keep the dogs and rabbits out lol We used all sorts of bits we had lying around as no going to the hardware shop. 05.01.2022 This coming weekend is the 40th yr of the @baytobirdwood rally so rug up and come on up! There will be loads of sweet old vehicles trundling through Gumeracha to Birdwood. There is a cosy fire to cuddle up to here in the Loft and great coffee and hot food up at the main street while you wave the vintage beauties on their way.
