08.01.2022 I read this poem and thought it beautiful..... What can we all do in this difficult time? Can we do something, anything to lessen the burden for someone else? How about a random act of kindness......... Bake a cake for that elderly neighbour that you have only just met since moving your work to home Return a trolley from a fellow shopper struggling with their load Walk on the beach by yourself and collect some rubbish Do a favour for someone without asking for one in return Contact your friends regularly, cook dinner for them, especially if they are in isolation alone Send an email of encouragement to your friends in Europe/USA Offer hope to your family Let someone go in front of you in the shopping queue Mow the lawn for someone who cant Create a household menu to cook all your familys favourite dinners Give way to the cyclist Take the time to appreciate the sunrise and sunset Take the day off complaining Please add to the list....
