Get to Know is a monthly post which celebrates the Randstad community and shares our educators journeys working in the early years industry. Get to Know:... Cori Where are you located? Wollongong. What are your passions outside of work? Music, travelling and studying nursing. How did you start in Early Years Education? I started 30 years ago working with children with disabilities and on the spectrum. I used to manage a family day care but I now operate My Little Wombats Babysitting Service in Wollongong, Russell Vale. When did you start with Randstad Education? I started mid 2019. What is most rewarding about your role? Seeing children learn and grow. Everyday there is a moment to cherish and a beautiful memory to go home with. What advice would you give someone looking start a career in childcare? Stay patient and make sure you have that passion for working with children. #RandstadEducation

"Candidate of the Month" is awarded to an individual who adheres to Randstad Education's core value of Human Forward; an educator who goes above and beyond to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. We are delighted to announce November's Candidate of the Month is Anit Tomy, a Diploma Trained E...ducator who has worked with Randstad since the beginning of 2019. Since her very first shift with Randstad, Anit has been requested nearly everyday to work at childcare centres all over the ACT and Regional NSW. From fellow colleagues to centre directors, Anit has received the highest of praises for her professionalism, strong communication skills and compassion towards children and families. The YESfest is an annual pride festival which celebrates the legalisation of same-sex marriage in Australia and the LGBTIQ community in all its fabulous diversity. Our Education Consultant, Maddie Farrell said "I feel very grateful to have been present at such a beautiful event promoting equality and the right to free expression while providing a sense of community for individuals who may otherwise feel marginalised."
