02.05.2022 Eleanor is a trailblazer! Her new Sunrise Medical Sterling S425 is the first mobility scooter in her retirement village. Eleanor purchased it from our Capalaba store in Queensland so that she can participate in activities in the community centre of her retirement village. As Eleanor is unable to walk up the hill where her community centre is located, her Sterling S425 makes it easier for her to access activities she enjoys and go to the local shops. 10.02.2022 Congratulations @dylanalcott! Paralympic gold medallist and tennis champion Dylan Alcott was named the 2022 Australian of the Year. Dylan is the first person with a disability to win the award in its 62-year history. A passionate advocate for people with disabilities, Dylan has consistently challenged the perception of disability. On receiving the award, Dylan said "My purpose in life is to change perceptions so people with disability, people like me, can get out there and live the lives they deserve to live." You are an inspiration to us all, Dylan. We can’t wait to follow your journey as the 2022 Australian of the Year.
