21.01.2022 Time to get fire wood

21.01.2022 Remember, now that the Queens Birthday holiday has passed, a lot of tracks are now closed until the Thursday before Melbourne Cup. Make sure you do plenty of pre-planning before heading away to make sure the tracks you’re planning to take are open.

18.01.2022 Please, if you see something say something. It’s important that we all look after the bush and it’s infrastructure because if we don’t things may not end up the way we want. On a side note... Merry Christmas to all and a safe New year from all of us at the RRCV

17.01.2022 Good morning all With Track and Road closures now happening I wanted to take this opportunity to show you one of the apps I use. The App is Vic Traffic and you will find all current Road closures listed within the app. I know there are a few different ones out there but I just thought I’d share. Thanks and I hope this helps. ... Enjoy and stay safe

17.01.2022 So, with the upcoming fire season it’s super important that you know the rules regarding campfires. Please click on the following link to download your own copy of the rules. https://www.ffm.vic.gov.au//CanICantIcampfireandbbqbrouchu... Stay safe out there people and remember If it’s not safe to touch then it’s not safe to leave! Cheers

15.01.2022 What did you get up to this long weekend?

10.01.2022 Disappointing but the best call in these unsure times

10.01.2022 When we all finally get the chance to go camping again, remember that if you see something like this, report it to the relevant authority. This will ensure we can keep these places open for everyone to use. And remember, try and leave any campsite cleaner than when you arrived, taking that extra bag of trash with you when you leave will ensure they stay open for everyone!

07.01.2022 There's been a bit of social media chatter about the loading of roofracks off road. Main thing to note is never go above the max load of your car. The claimed capacity for the rack is irrelevant because it's almost always greater than the car can handle. Also, going off road puts greater strain on your roofrack (and balance) so needs to be much less that you think up there. About 2/3 of onroad capacity. Check out this video for a good discussion. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r32xd9z4SZ4&feature=youtu.be

06.01.2022 Please be aware, this is very disappointing.

03.01.2022 Driver Training-November 2020 With COVID 19 restrictions easing we were able to get one more training session in before the end of the year. We had 4 cars and 5 participants. The best part was we had 3 RR Sports, 2 of which were brand new. In fact, one was only 3 weeks old! Cars and drivers all performed very well. It was great to see the new owners enjoying their new cars for all of the reasons they bought them. ... The day was a huge success with no damage to report and all drivers coming away with a full kit of new skills. Well done to all involved. From all of us involved in Driver training please have a safe Christmas and New year and we look forward to seeing you in a session next year.

02.01.2022 One of the great benefits from joining the RRCV is that your Driver Training is included in your joining fee. We had a small group this week and the practical day was yesterday. Let’s just say it was nice and wet and they all got the chance to hone there skills very quickly. Great day had by all. If you are thinking about joining a 4WD club then please consider giving us a call to discuss the benefits. At this stage we have Driver Training scheduled for July, August and ...September. If you are interested please contact me at, [email protected] Cheers and Stay Safe
