03.01.2022 Vale Peter Garrod It is with much sadness we announce to our hockey family, that over the weekend, Peter Garrod lost his battle with cancer and passed away pea...cefully with his family by his side. Peter was well known and respected across both the pub and club industry. He was our General Manager for over 18 years, winning multiple awards for Club Glenvale. Peter also sat on the Board of Clubs Queensland for six years then was a Clubs Queensland Zone Representative for a further two years. Peter’s dedication to our association, the club and the industry were without question. As a result of both Peter’s wishes and the current COVID restrictions, the numbers attending the funeral will be limited and people will be contacted privately and invited to attend. Our thoughts are with Peter’s family and friends at this sad time. He will be dearly missed.
