22.01.2022 Due to additional restrictions placed upon all community sport regarding inter zone travel by NSW Health, RANSA has decided we should not run competitive races for the next 5 weeks. Therefore while the series will continue it will be non pointscore going forward and starting will be the skippers call. See the website full details including amended NoR & SIs.

19.01.2022 Unfortunately RANSA has today been advised of a COVID 19 contact at the Club. NSW Health advised that a person who attended the Navy Bear Café at RANSA between 10am and 4pm on Sunday 13 December 2020 has recently been confirmed to have coronavirus (COVID19) infection. This was during the time of the RANSA Christmas Breakfast. We have since worked with NSW Health providing all the requested information using the registered Christmas Breakfast list of members and guests who wer...e on site at that time. Navy Bear have and do continue to clean and sanitise the Club daily to COVID safe protocols. We have requested that Navy Bear do an additional deep clean just to be safe. As a result Navy Bear will not be operating for sit down meals, but take away only this weekend. The Club will be open to members to access their boats for the Combined Clubs Race on Saturday and the Great Bar Race on Monday. NSW Health have now published the following notice and we advise Members and any guests that were at RANSA during that period to: Get Tested immediately and self isolate until you receive a negative result. Continue to watch for COVID-19 symptoms and if any symptoms occur, get tested again While this has been an unfortunate incident, RANSA and Navy Bear have strong COVID plans and protocols in place to manage these occurrences and we are committed to ensuring the safety of our members and guests as a priority.
