25.01.2022 Dylan popping in a nice scarf on what was the biggest white peppermint any of us had ever worked on! They typically grow to 15 meters but this would have been 20+ Good job to joe and James on working the 2-1 pulling the big trunk over.

21.01.2022 Another big limb came off this big guy over the driveway and Clipped the house, it was showing some major structure weaknesses so it was time to go for the big guy. Dylan and James getting stuck into bringing her down a couple of weeks ago.

16.01.2022 Here's a before and after of James's largest tree removal to date, a 20 metre Stringy Bark up in Golden Point with just about 360 views of the city. This is a perfect example of a tree that looks to be in good health apart from the smaller dead branches in the canopy, Adam suspected there was something amiss with the tree and once the boys got it down to the last metre of the trunk there was a massive termite nest. It just goes to show that even when a tree looks healthy enough to most people it can never hurt to get an Arborist around to inspect your larger trees.

06.01.2022 The boys doing a Bit of work with the crane guys from Ballarat mobile cranes, after a 20 meter Pinus radiata came down on top of a house, fortunately everyone was safe and well after it came down.

02.01.2022 This job was a one in a million!! To start Matt had to climb the 30 meter poplar, it had to be removed by rigging most of it down bit by bit. Then James, Nath and Joe dragged 40 meters next door from the tree to the closest place to get to the chipper to chip the branches. Matt, James and Nath cut all the larger wood down and into foot blocks (Approximately 10-12 meters of wood!!). ... James, Nath, Lachie and Joe wheelbarrowed all that wood around to the truck, loaded it and dumped over 8 loads to the yard. To make it even trickier they did all that with no access for a cherry picker, bob cat or crane, just good old fashion physical labour!! And to cap it off there was a 2 meter tall beehive in one of the trunks See pics!! A big thank you to Chris from the Ballarat beekeepers Facebook page for assisting us with all the gear. Another shout out to James who was kitted In the protection suit whilst climbing and removing sections of the poplar for Chris to do his thing to protect the bees . We are all super proud of you guys for effectively completing this job in 2 and a half days. -Adam and Jess

01.01.2022 Not our apprentices first tree climbing removal but was his biggest to date! James did a rippa job as part of the main head had snapped out in recent storms thus making it even harder to find good access and high points to work from. We Couldn’t be prouder of him in the way he has been developing over the last 12 months.
