02.01.2022 We recently had the privilege of working with Austin Nitsua on our school mural. Throughout the entire process, Austin was approachable and professional. He collaborated happily with all school stakeholders, including students, staff and governing council members. He listened attentively to feedback provided to him and continued to adapt and change the mural design to capture the history, community and landmarks of Rapid Bay to ensure everyone was happy with the final plan. D...uring the painting of the mural, Austin fully engaged with the school community. The students loved watching him work and chatting to him about his work and life in general. Austin took time out of his work to ensure all students had a chance to talk and tell him stories. We loved having him on site and are blown away of what he has produced. The mural itself has surpassed all expectations. It really is an amazing piece of work and a fantastic representation of our local community. We couldn’t be happier with the process or the finished product. Students are already planning future projects to ensure Austin visits us again. We would highly recommend Austin to any organisation seeking a mural artist.
