21.01.2022 This week we commenced work at St Saviour's Church in Redfern. The church is over 100 years old and our work will involve extensive brick stitching and re-pointing to safeguard the exterior facade and remediate water ingress issues internally.

13.01.2022 This project involved extensive internal and external renovations, modifications, remediation and stabilisation to a group home for people with disabilities and their carers. We have now completed the internal work. Floors were replaced; new skylights were added; ducted gas heating was installed comprising individual MagIQTouch controllers for each resident. New airconditioning systems were added and the electrical system was upgraded along with fire detection and alarm. Sensor-activated auto-door systems were added and upgraded. A new kitchen was installed and AS1428-compliant shower and toilet facilities were custom designed to comply with the standard, the BCA and the specific needs of each resident while also preserving and protecting the Heritage fabric.

07.01.2022 We are very proud to have recently celebrated 30 years in business. Rapid started trading in April 1990 and is still going strong under the leadership of our original founder and Managing Director. Since 1990 we have completed hundreds of projects of all sizes for clients all over the Greater Sydney Metropolitan region and far beyond in all parts of NSW. Over that time we've provided steady employment for hundreds of people and engaged with innumerable suppliers, subcontracto...rs, consultants, architects and engineers in every imaginable trade and discipline. Along the way we've developed, preserved and enhanced an enviable skill-set and a passion for delivering challenging, unusual, and technically complex projects up to $10m in value. We are currently working hard delivering essential service related works in the transport infrastructure, social/community housing and charity sectors and we are very glad to be able to continue providing employment opportunities for our personnel, our subcontractors, their partners and families during the Covid-19 pandemic. Rapid has weathered many storms during its lifetime including recession during the 90s and the GFC in 2008 - although Covid prevented us from celebrating our 30 years in style, we remain confident we'll stay strong and active throughout the crisis, as we did back in the 90s and 00s.
