24.01.2022 FRIDAY FEATURE. Today I’ve featured an absolutely beautiful fitting. The Metro. In blonde. It has a wingspan of 2.4m( 8 foot) and fits perfectly suspended over this 3m island kitchen bench. With each suspension wire installed vertically, there is nothing to take away from it’s grandeur and bold elegance. I had the pleasure to work with this beautiful family in the Hills district of Sydney, with multiple designs appointments, through to the actual installation. 21.01.2022 FRIDAY FEATURE. Today I’ve featured my favourite pet Fallow deer , Heidi. She is about to turn 4, and about to have her fawn for the second year now. I hand raised Heidi from 2 days old, and is totally bomb proof. Her fawn from last year, that she fed and raised is very slowly coming around to letting me pat her, when she’s feeding from a bucket. Heidi will seek me out to get attention and have a good scratch. #rapideffects

As with all new design uses of my antler products, I always do a mock up, and full working concept before going ahead for a client. Through the fog and overcast low clouds, the harbour bridge and city skyline are clearly visible. More so on a fine blue sky kind of day! 18.01.2022 SATURDAY SPOTLIGHT. Today I put the spotlight on a custom design I did a few years ago. These grand solid red deer antlers were supplied by a passionate Scottish hunter. He had brought his taxidermy trophy head across the seas, to Australia many years ago. Now he had a vision, to be able to enjoy his antlers in a new way. I came up with this custom design to give them all the glory they commanded. The fitting hangs proudly over his alfresco area. 18.01.2022 FRIDAY FEATURE. This week I’m featuring a (flat) Cascade design I’ve recently completed for an interstate client. The brief was to make it Perfect . Great that should be easy. What other standards are there?!!!! It also had height requirements due to a tall partner, and high, but not super high ceilings. I have used some of the last antlers of their quality found within Australia. Sadly these are no longer available. Sourced from one of the founding deer breeders an...d pioneers, old stock in Australia @patstratton69. These antlers are exceptional with up to 12 points/tines per antler. 16.01.2022 MERRY CHRISTMAS to all of our friends, family, customers,followers and likers. Tracey and I wish you all a safe and festive Christmas. Here’s a mid week update of our ungulate family. Mocha is now nearly 3weeks old. I’m bottle feeding her every 4-5 hrs. She met her Auntie Heidi and cousin Bindi today. Mocha’s dad Jack Frost is growing his new year’s antlers. The tops are just starting to palm into the flat paddle.

She still loves a bottle of warm milk most days, and is getting super affectionate, loving attention from friends and the dogs. Being in Australia, we have a distinct variety of deer species to that of the Northern Hemisphere. This creates unique opportunities to work with 7 species of deer antlers. None of my creations will ever utilise steel or timber as a structural, or decorative element. I solely use the antler as the structural and aesthetic element.
