COVID Safe Information: Due to COVID Safe restrictions, ALL parents, guardians and supporters will be required to stay outside of the fenced playing area to view the games. BN Officials along with team coaches, players, scorers and managers will be the only exception to this rule. ALL parents, guardians and supporters will be required to register their intent to stay on arrival to the ground at the registration area using the provided QR Code. 15.01.2022 COVID19 UPDATE - Greater Brisbane Area Lockdown. The Queensland Government has today announced that the Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands and Moreton Council ...areas will be subject to a three (3) day lockdown from 6:00pm this evening (Friday 8 Jan 2021) through 6:00pm Monday 11 Jan 2021. This lockdown means baseball events, games, face-to-face meetings, gatherings or activities can NOT be conducted in these areas during the lockdown period. Any planned events in these areas will need to be cancelled or postponed. The GBL have moved to cancel all games and events for this weekend Friday 8/1/2021 to Monday 11/1/2021. Please note if these games can be rescheduled the GBL will attempt to provide for this. While the current lockdown is not set to impact the Queensland Showcase Event for the U16 and U18 Queensland programs we are monitoring State Government advice in the leadup to this event and will advise if anything changes with this event. 06.01.2022 Training is starting for some teams this week, please check with your manager or coach for details for your team. As per the current COVID-19 guidelines, the following will be in place: Everyone over the age of 12 must carry a mask with them at all times. You don't need to wear your mask when you are training outdoors.... If training in the batting cages, masks must be worn. Masks need to be worn by parents and spectators if social distancing can't be maintained. Everyone needs to sign in using the QR code available in the managers kit or posted around the fields. Thank you for continuing to keep our community safe.

04.01.2022 **Project Progress Update** Construction of the new access road and remaining carparks is underway. New kerb has been laid and gravel pavement works have commenced. Pathway works surrounding the new building and sportsfield are nearing completion. All concrete slab works for the new building area have now been completed. Installation of structural steel building elements and blockwork is currently underway and will continue into the coming month.

INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE (NEW) LITTLE LEAGUE MAJORS Brisbane North will be conducting try-outs for the Senior League, Junior League, Intermediate League (NEW) and Little League age groups at the following venues and times; (Teams to attend the State Titles later this year being held at Redcliffe Padres between 15-18th April 2021. Including Division 2.) Saturday 30th January 2021 Skill Testing Day Age Group: Senior League Venue: Redcliffe Padres Baseball Club (Field 2) Time: 4pm to 6pm or sooner Sunday 31st January 2021 Skill Testing Day Age Group: Little League / Intermediate League / Junior League Venue: Redcliffe Padres Baseball Club (Field 2) Time: 9am to 11am or sooner (Little League Only) Time: 11am to 1pm or sooner (Intermediate & Junior League) Saturday 6th February 2021 Scrimmage Games Venue: To be confirmed Time: 2pm to 4:30pm or sooner (Little League) Time: 3pm to 5:30pm or sooner (Junior League) Senior League scrimmage games will be confirmed as soon as possible. If you were born between the following dates and are competing with your club team in the GBL Competition you are eligible to try out. To be eligible to compete in the SL age group you need to play 6 games out of the 10 scheduled games and LL & JL age groups, each player must play a minimum of 8 games out the 12 games scheduled previously posted on the BN Facebook page to meet eligibility criteria.
