You are relaxed, your body feels safe and restored after a therapeutic stretch, your mind is calm and grounded. You know the feeling when a loved one brushes their hand across your back? It feels comforting, acknowledging, and connective. ... That's what makes Yomassage so special. The goal of every Yomassage is to activate the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PNS) and foster a deeper mind-body connection. As a Yomassage practitioner, I have had training on the nervous system, breathing and mindfulness, the research behind touch and stretch, anatomy in the Yomassage positions, and the mind-body connection. I am trained to be trauma-sensitive and create a safe, inclusive environment in every session. Interested in experiencing a Yomassage class? Various classes will be starting in the New Year.
