I am an International Reggae singer, my accomplishments include my winning the prestigious Akademia award and Poze Productions award for best Reggae album "I am MessenJah" and also for best rock EP "Let's Make Our Business forgiveness" in the year 2019. In addition to that, I have also had the honour of receiving other awards, such as: -Unforgettable live performance at the 2019 Coast to Coast festival in Melbourne. -The 2019 Akademia award for best overall artist of the year -2020 Artistic Vision award for exceptional talent of the year, originality and vision in the field of music, and; -2020 X-POZE-ING Music Award for Best Reggae Music Video. I am an artistic therapist and developer of Laughter Percussion. Laughter Percussion is a revolutionary new therapy that brings together people, culture, rhythm, percussion, physical energy and interaction, and most important, laughter. My workshops/sessions brighten everyone's day, encourages interaction and connection among people and provides positive reinforcement and extra support to encourage participation, regardless of one's abilities. It is a bliss to watch people open up and combine their joy of laughter with the joy of playing rhythmic music and singing. I am currently working with GIFSA, a non-profit organization, as a Support Worker and provide workshops/sessions to their clients through one of their programs called Rejuvenation Through Recreation (RTR). This program develops social and individual skills for youngsters and adults working on social community participation, and capacity building support as identified in their NDIS funded plan.

JJ Rawlings was said to have had a brief illness beyond he finally died on Thursday 12th November, 2020, aged 73. Rest in peace Papa J.
