21.01.2022 Having fun on Procreate turning some quick watercolour flowers into repeat patterns. Working mobile has its advantages. These flowers were watercolour based and then photographed on the iPad. Artwork was then digitally enhanced using layers and blending modes. Although I wasnt a real fan of the original flowers, this pattern is starting to take shape. Its a lesson to learn. Dont throw away anything you create. Happy with the save. Learning to make repeat patterns on Procreate has also been an interesting journey. 20.01.2022 Im very excited to let you all know that my artworks titled "Delightful Awakenings" and "Landscape Notes to Basquiat" which were acquired as part of the Liverpool Art Society awards are to be displayed in an upcoming exhibition at Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre. The exhibition titled Collection Spotlight-Past Winners will be presented from 11 July until 6 September 2020 in the Switch Gallery with selected past award winners from both the Liverpool Art Society and the Mil-Pra (AECG) awards.
