25.01.2022 I checked again with the local politicians about being able to play on a Sunday or Saturday afternoon and whether it would create a problem given the current lockdown that we're in. The response came back that playing music in public is not allowed at this time and they get to review the situation again on the 28th of September. It seems that if I did set up and play that, not only myself but those who may gather to listen, could quite possibly get a visit from the men in blue, which would not be a good outcome for anyone. I think I'll touch base with the pollies after the 28th and see what transpires then. In the meantime ..? Happy days.
21.01.2022 It was great to be able to play again across Hidden Harbour The weather was great, not too windy and really nice to have family around to enjoy and support for a change. It was a really pleasant afternoon. Thanks to those who offered some applause and encouragement from the marina area and those returning from an afternoon sail on the bay who sat back and listened for awhile. The dancers along the berths made the day. Till next time .... appreciated .... stay safe.
15.01.2022 The weather will be good this Sunday coming so I'm looking forward to setting up again and playing for a couple of hours across Hidden Harbour Marina. May be a little rusty after having to take a break over the colder months. Still working towards the open air show in one of the green spaces around Martha Cove but it may need to be in the new year now. If you're nearby on Sunday stop for a listen and give me wave. 09.01.2022 Great to hear some of the restrictions being lifted today and that there will be more changes for the better in a week or so. Looking forward to setting up again for a Sunday afternoon presentation across Hidden Harbour Marina when the weather is good enough. Can't wait. We're also working towards an open air show in one of the green spaces at the start of summer when, hopefully, social distancing is not such a dominant requirement and everyone can enjoy an afternoon together.
