05.01.2022 If I look a little warn today, don't worry, I won't fall apart. It's not the hours on my feet, it's the time spent in your heart. Today I shared tears with Mrs Rose after losing her love of 60 years or more. I celebrated with Sarah for her baby, I know how long she's waited for. Jenny was short and tired as her working week had been a blurr and when Lucy shared she had finally left, relief I felt for her.... I saw you on your wedding day and the week you lost your mother. I know how you've worried for your little boy and how much you miss your brother. It was the glitz and glamour that drew me in, so young, just seventeen. It's the moments we've shared together that filled my soul with love unseen. I pinned your curls on your school leaving day and then as you were married. I felt your heavy heart that day as you lost the precious baby you had carried. When I arrive home my children ask 'Mummy, did you make some pretty hair?' I will reply quicky 'Yes, I did my Love!' And that will be enough to share. I have so much gratitude for you've trusted me with all the things that matter. To so many it must seem to be such unimportant chatter. We've shared so much over so many years. Your joy, your love, your fears. I will carry your secrets with me for all of the precious years.
