A great little interview that without mentioning Design Thinking specifically, manages to VERY clearly highlight the importance of the 1st stage in a Design Sprint - Empathy / Customer Research! Brian also has some great comments on survival mode vs embracing change and leading with a positive 'where to next' attitude. ... 04.01.2022 Hats off to Westpac on Pako St for looking at ways to personalise their customer experience and add a little surprise here and there! - Went in this morning for a bank cheque. - they noted who it was made out to (a car dealer) and asked if I was buying a car. - I said yes and they popped a car air freshener in the envelope with the bank cheque and said ‘enjoy your new car’. ... Simple, cheap but personalised and unexpected service. Well done.
