20.01.2022 At Emerge we’ve been overwhelmed these last few weeks supporting lots of youth who are working hard to get life on track. Our youth workers are working with mo...re than 35 kids currently who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, exiting detention or staying out of trouble. Emerge provides out of hours crisis response, outreach, mentorship, cafe employment and accommodation to provide wrap around support that meets young people wherever they are with eyes on their hopes and dreams. We are keeping kids safe, alive, out of jail and a part of a community who loves them regardless of their story before Our organisation is unfunded and we rely heavily on business in our cafe, donations and our fundraising efforts to continue to help kids in ways that nobody else can in our community. We’ve helped hundreds of kids get life on track, and we ask you to keep supporting our cafe, telling your mates about us, consider a tax deductible donation or by helping us with resources and volunteering this season.
