13.01.2022 Events in FB isn’t working so from now on the next walk be a pinned post Today’s was cancelled due to rain so is now next week on June 16 at 9 am at Bullockys Rest as you come in just south of Crows Nest Bullocky's Rest and Hartman Park, Crows Nest. Coming into Crows Nest from Toowoomba is Bullocky'Rest on your right with a life sized bullock team to greet you. ... The park was originally used as a camp for bullock teams hauling timber from Cooyar to Toowoomba. Applegum Walk follows Crows Nest Creek to Hartman Park where you cross the creek to Hartman Park Circuit which is mainly undisturbed bushland. A pleasant walk with local wildlife and vegetation along the creek which hopefully has some water in it. Return is either via the same route or through town. 3.5-4km. Grade easy to moderate. Please Note - This is an informal friendship walking group so participation is at own risk . Please check your fitness for the terrain and distance Opportunity for cake and coffee at the Curly Carrot afterwards!
