24.01.2022 IMPROVE YOUR HOCKEY AT HOME During this crazy time, you've got two options. Option 1: Take some time off ... You may be thinking: "What's the point in doing anything right now?" "Who knows how long this outbreak will last, so I may as well kick back and enjoy some time off..." But consider where you will be in 3-6 months time if you do this. Not only will you lose fitness and put on some weight, but you'll also have conditioned bad habits and negative thinking patterns You'll develop a "lazy mindset" which will also affect your confidence when you're back on the hockey field. This could later lead to frustration and losing out when it really counts, because others will take option 2. Option 2: Use this time to gain an advantage There may be some things that you can't do, like play hockey. BUT... There is SO much you CAN do to improve during this time (without leaving your house). This is your opportunity to LEARN the game and do things that you don't usually have time for.
