21.01.2022 Please leave a comment about this The Serious and Organised Crime Amendment Bill has been passed by the QLD Parliament. The passing of this Bill will see a num...ber of positive changes, many which were lobbied for by the ATG to the licensing regime in QLD. The Act itself will be renamed to the new title of the "Tattoo Industry Act". Amongst the other changes to occur are the following - finger and palm prints will only be taken on application, operators licenses will no longer require close associates statements ,new provisions for mobile tattooing, the removal of secret Police evidence at hearings and probity to be based on an individuals criminal background rather than association. The majority of these changes are to be implemented in March 2017. The ATG continues to pressure the QLD Gov to address many of the other ongoing issues. The ATG Committee would like to thank those members of the Professional Tattooing community and both business and public sector members who continue to support through membership a campaign for positive change! 11.01.2022 Mike Baird has admitted he got it WRONG with the Greyhound ban. It is time he took a good look at the TATTOO INDUSTRY. This Government ruins peoples lives. It is time to review the TATTOO Bans. Bring back RAVEN TATTOOS STUDIO.
