13.01.2022 This was our first photo shoot as Ravenwood Studios. Anyone who knows me, knows I come up with a new business idea at least twice a year . But this time was different, Chris and I had both lost work due to Covid so we really had nothing to lose. For us, loosing our jobs was a blessing in disguise and whilst Chris’ film work has mostly returned back to normal, I’ve been continuing to grow and develop Ravenwood Studios and hopefully we are onto bigger and better things for 202...1. I’ve loved working alongside my husband, I’ve loved creating precious memories for families, I’ve loved having a creative outlet and most of all I’ve loved that it’s allowed me the flexibility to spend more time with my family. We’ve only got one more session booked in for 2020 and then perhaps I will finally get around to finishing our website off . That’s me doing a little happy dance at the end.. I was just so excited to finally be doing something I love

11.01.2022 I have certain memories from those early days at home with my daughter. A certain song or smell may remind me every so often. Being married to a photographer we never had professional photos taken, and Chris was in Western Australia working on Red Dog for the first few months of her life, so he didn’t capture it either. I am grateful to have the photos I took on my iPhone, but feel so honoured to be able to document these memories for families to cherish forever. In Home Lifestyle Portraits are my absolute favourites to do and I am truly blessed to be able to call this my job

I had an idea of what it would look like, whilst at the same time having no idea at all because everyone’s home is different. This photo from yesterday just cements it for us.
