19.01.2022 Workout for the day! Best way to explore is definitely on foot! This area of Byron is very familiar to me so decided to step up my WOD with this challenge today! Me against Me! 34 degree heat and all! 2 loops of the Byron to lighthouse= 5 km run mainly uphill running! Followed by 700 steps of The pass to lighthouse steps, 20 burpees, 20 squats, 20 jump squats, 20 Bulgarian lunges, 40 mountain climbers, 20 single leg dead lifts, 20 pull-ups, 20 push ups, 20 dips, 20 leg raises, 1 min plank! X 4! All in this beautiful and serene (probably should have done a yoga or Pilates session) surroundings! #whosaysyoucanttravelandtrain #trainhard #eatwell #movemore #livebetter #rawenergy

04.01.2022 Your body can't tell the difference between these swanky sugars and normal sugar, but your wallet sure can. #superfoodwankery Unrefined doesn't metabolise any ...differently in the body. Its just normal raw sugar packaged differently and 10 times the price. Unrefined and coconut sugar may contain 'trace minerals' but the levels of these minerals is almost zero. Saying that these are healthy sugars and we should choose these because they contain minerals, is like saying we should all eat a Big Mac because it contains lettuce. These sugars taste great, we love using them for the flavour. But the take home message is: There's no 'healthier' sugar. Choose the one you like. Sugar is sugar and we should aim to just eat a little less of it, a little less often. #sugarissugar
