08.01.2022 I really don’t like ‘art failures’. Failures of any kind, really. But then again, who does? Failures, especially when it comes to art practices, can really depress me. The waste. The not good enough. The self doubt. Ah but the waste So, failure. ... The thing about failure is, is it really a failure? In most people eyes, yes, but in mine and if I’m honest with myself, I like the texture, so it’s not really a failure...right? Right. So it becomes about perspective and changing the points of views and inner scripts we have on failure. But how? How can we give ‘failure’ such an overhaul that it’s purpose is seen in a positive light? This is where we focus on what it’s teaching us. Patience? Perseverance? Practicalities?
