22.01.2022 @steve_concept_performance’s Powercleans are moving pretty well into open season. 120kg for 3 ain’t bad at all! Who is doing the open this year? What do you think about the format?

22.01.2022 Probably one of the only downsides for the CrossFitters training onsite at @rawbarbellclub is that we can sometimes lose the team aspect of CrossFit, the mutual suffering happening at the same time. We’ve tried to work on this by creating a space where athletes can compete against themselves and each other but now @steve_concept_performance has had the bright idea to put together actual team training sessions. It kinda feels like the okd days . . Don’t take my work for it, t...his is what @jeanpaulchung thought about session 1. . The weather was Nice for it . I had butterflies in my tum tum at the beginning. No not because I forgot to have breaky but mainly intimidated by the presence of our star regional CrossFit athlete and all the strong girls in the class . The WOD were very nicely structured and allowed us to work on different modalities . The head coach had a critical but constructive eye on us . It ended nicely with a partner WOD which allowed us to build a stronger love / hate relationship with our fellow partner ( mine was a very quick runner ). Overall I would rate the WOD a solid 8.9/10. 19.01.2022 Dis is the good stuff @janieb333 clean is looking pretty good at the moment but there is more to this Over the last several months Jane has had recurring shoulder injuries + a wrecked thumb, reducing her ability to do pretty much all oly movements and alot of accessories... Even doing so drilling good technique they tell me how hard it is as well as it paying off big time when they return to the barbell. She was successful with 3 out of 3 Attempts in the Snatch (31 , 33, 35) And... 2 Out of 3 Attempts in the Clean & Jerk (50, 53x, 53) 5/6 Lifts - 88kg Total (Only 1 kg under her best) Also she’s my mum (this is Andy)
