22.01.2022 Raw Gems Pecan Brownie Process. A lovely Sunday work day, pumping out 12 slabs of the one and only delectable Pecan Brownie. The ganash making was a mammoth effort, with 3 litres of Maple syrup and 3 litres of Ricemalt syrup, almost 4 litres of coconut oil and 2kg of cacao powder. The bases took more than a whole 5kg box of organic dates and as much of almonds and pecans also. But this is a daily occurrence in our kitchen, BULK wholefoods are pushed into trays and developed... into raw desserts for everyone's enjoyment. <3 Happiest of Sunday evening to you all <3 When was your last taste of the Pecan Brownie? 19.01.2022 Very Happy feels for this post. This past weekend, friends of ours were wed. And we are all so happy for Chook (Dave) and Tracey for their special day. Tracey loves our Lemon Tingle slice and so requested their cake be made with it. It was a large cake and I was allowed to decorate how I pleased. Such a nerve wracking experience decorating a wedding cake let alone a friends wedding cake. I soon find myself picking through Naomi's container. I am always saying that I must grab more when I go to town. "Just in case!! Even though I have a container of new ones in the pantry" Can never have too many spatulars. ... Anyone agree with me on this? What's your favourite kitchen tool that you like to stock up on? On top of all our orders for Cafe's, Health food stores, sample backs, bliss ball packs, Swap n Go's,4, 8 and 9 packs, 5 medium cakes and a few baby cakes we were swamped with orders for 14 Party Pack boxes. It's taken us a few days to get all the orders packed in between our general slice and cake making. Now feeling a sigh of relief that it's completed and all into their boxes for delivery tomorrow. We know of many excited people tomorrow ready to collect or r...eceive their goodies. And just out of the blue on short notice we were asked to make a Vanilla Custard cake but to be decorated like the wedding cake. It turned out so beautifully.
