16.01.2022 On Wednesday 18th November the Westpac Rescue Helicopter hosted a Tag a Calf fundraising event at the #Dorrigo Sale Yards. John Carey from Elders and Tim Ba...yliss from Ray White Rural Dorrigo Bellingen contacted farmers prior to sale day asking if they would like to participate in the event. With cattle prices at an all-time high it seems vendors were more than happy to contribute to support the Service. The day was extremely successful with a big thank you to Elders Rural for their vendors contributing $1,507, the team at Ray White Rural for their personal donation of $2,530 on top of their vendors $1,840...making it $5,877 in total support! We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Dorrigo Rotary Club who donated the proceeds from the canteen on the day being $340 to the Service. The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service will be hosting two of these events annually in Dorrigo (May and November 2021). 13.01.2022 LPA NVDs deadline.... DON'T FORGET. GET ORGANISED NOW. From 1 January 2021, only the updated versions of all NVDs (0720) will be accepted for all species. A reminder to order NVDs now as delivery can take up to 6 weeks.... New NVD books can be ordered through the LPA service centre, using LPA log in details. As part of the MLA Accelerated Adoption Initiative announced in November 2019, there is no cost for LPA NVD books until 30 June 2021. For instructions on how to complete the new version (0720) NVDs, visit the ISC website.
