17.01.2022 Good luck to the HSC Students and all students doing exams. Here is a prayer for exams that you might like to pray! Or you might like to pray for someone you know. Heavenly Father, Thank you that the world is under Your control. You set the stars in place; you laid the foundations of the earth. You feed the birds of the air and clothe the flowers of the field, yet Your love for us is far greater. You know what we need, and You delight to give us good things. Let us always tru...st that all things work together for the good of those who love You. Help us to study thoroughly, to the best of our ability, as if we are working for You. Let us respect and honour our teachers and parents. You have placed them in our lives for our good. In all our studies, let us work humbly and heartily, giving thanks to God the Father through Christ. You desire that we are not idle or lazy, but willing to work. We pray that our perseverance in study, no matter the outcome, will build both our knowledge and our character. Help us to not idolise marks or achievements. Thank you that You care for us and call us to put You first in our lives. Help us to find our rest in You, taking time to spend time with You in prayer and in Your word, and also to meet together with Your people, to praise You and to encourage and build up our brothers and sisters, the body of our Lord Jesus Christ. We trust Your will, that You plan what happens and we do not. So, if You will it, let us succeed. Please help to remember what we have learned and perform with all our ability. Give us confidence, calmness, and clarity. You are a God who delights in truth, so help us to be honest and truthful in exams and study, not wanting to lie or cheat but to show Your goodness in our actions. We pray that we may pass. We thank you that in Jesus, we have already passed from death to life. We pray that we may receive our qualifications. We thank you that You have qualified us to share in the inheritance You have kept for us. We pray that our answers may be right. We thank you that we can be right with You because of Jesus. We thank you, that the one exam we could never pass, Jesus took for us; He got full marks. Help us to always remember, no matter what any piece of paper says, if we trust Jesus, our names are written in the book of life. We pray all this in Jesus name, Amen.

03.01.2022 Friends, tonight at Rayg we are welcoming the year 6-ers to join us. We are excited about having them come, and hope they love their time with us. We just wanted to let you know a few things about Rayg, to make things move smoothly. 1. At Rayg we play games, listen to a talk, have small groups, and enjoy a supper. We are run by a dedicated group of 9 leaders, led by Andrew Fleming and myself 2. Rayg ordinarily costs either $3 per youth, or $5 for a family, although tonight... is free for all guests, and so please just send them along 3. We are still doing supper at the end of youth, although at the moment it's all prepackaged foods. We are also asking youth to bring their own water bottles, to save lots of people going into the kitchen 4. Please drive onto the property via Nuwarra Rd and pull up besides the leaders. After answering the usual COVID questions, your youth can jump out, and then please drive out of the property via Lucas Ave. For pickup, we ask that you just wait in your car until your youth comes to you, and then feel free to leave via either exit 5. We have sanitiser available throughout the building. Please remind your youth to sanitise regularly If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, we look forward to meeting your youth tonight!
